The Bresser DST-0745 is a special microscope that operates with a C-mount camera (camera not included). This allows for direct viewing on a screen. Due to the vertically mounted optics, there is no image shift when focusing. This is especially useful for focus stacking. The zoom can be continuously adjusted between 0.7x and 4.5x. Coarse and fine focus adjustments facilitate focusing, especially at high magnifications. The comfortable and simple handling makes the digital microscope particularly suitable for everyday use in the workshop. Measurements, surface quality control, or inspection of components and raw materials are easy with this workshop microscope. Insects, plants, and rocks are also displayed impressively. The DST-0745 workshop microscope is not suitable for visual observation. It can only be used in combination with a mikrocam c-mount microscope camera. It is designed for camera sensors of approximately 1/2". Smaller sensors can be used without problems. With larger sensors, vignetting occurs, which is reduced slightly at higher magnifications. Thanks to the two flexible incident light lamps, the light can be optimally positioned. Transmitted light illumination helps when observing transparent objects. The brightness of both illuminators can be adjusted in five steps. The magnification of a USB camera differs from the magnification of the objective lens. It depends, among other things, on the sensor size and the display on a monitor. It can be compared to macro lenses with a macro factor of 0.7:1 to 4.5:1.
